1. Salesforce Essentials 

This Salesforce edition provides basic services with the key Sales Cloud features and is good for small companies with a sales team of up to 10 members.


2. Lightning Professional

Since this Sales Cloud edition has no user limits, it’s a proper choice for mid-sized and large companies with one sales department. In comparison with the previous edition, this one boasts richer functionality. Starting with the Professional edition, users get access to the Process Builder feature. However, the Professional edition allows automating only 5 processes.

There’s also a restriction on integrating the Salesforce solution with external systems. If an organization with the Professional edition wants to connect external systems (ERP, PMS, etc.) to Salesforce, it will result in additional costs for each request.


3. Lightning Enterprise

The edition’s name speaks for itself: it’s an ideal option for enterprises, which require powerful system capabilities. It inherits the previous edition’s key features, and frees its users from the limitations in terms of workflow and approval processes, integration, and so on.
